Welcome to Rally in the Valley—VSWEC’s largest and most exciting event of the year!​

 

Rally in the Valley is a student-centered conference where social work students come together to celebrate their profession, expand their networks, and grow through hands-on professional development. It is also a unique opportunity to explore the innovative work happening across social work programs statewide.  Virginia social work students connect with peers and faculty from colleges and universities across the state - building relationships that extend beyond their classrooms and field placements.​

 

Students are not only participants! Students from s such the annual planning comittee include faulty and staff students as well.The event features engaging workshops, insightful panels, a spirited roll call competition, awards, and a vendor and graduate school fair.​Events like Rally in the Valley empower students to sharpen their skills, discover new approaches to practice, and take the next step in their social work journey.
