Welcome to Rally in the Valley—VSWEC’s largest and most exciting event of the year!

Rally in the Valley is a student-centered conference where social work students come together to celebrate their profession, expand their networks, and grow through hands-on professional development. It is also a unique opportunity to explore the innovative work happening across social work programs statewide.  Virginia social work students connect with peers and faculty from colleges and universities across the state - building relationships that extend beyond their classrooms and field placements.

Students are not only participants, but members of the annual planning committee with faculty and staff. Rally features engaging workshops, insightful panels, a spirited roll call competition, awards, and a vendor and graduate school fair. Our events empower students to sharpen their skills, discover new approaches to practice, and take the next step in their social work journey.
